ABOUT THE GHKC

 GHKC hosts two AKC licensed shows per year.

 GHKC sponsors educational seminars, open to the public, to      advance responsible dog ownership, canine health, and      information on quality dog breeding programs.

 The club refers specific breed inquiries to reputable dog breeders      in the area.

 We have monthly meetings with programs given by experts in      various fields of the dog fancy.  These programs offer members and      guests an understanding of the reduction of disease, genetic      defects, injuries and ailments which may affectour dogs.

  GHKC has donated $25,000 to the N.C. Veterinary School toward       scholarships!

 We have Handling Classes scheduled throughout the year to hone      the skills of both the novice and more seasoned exhibitor.

 Meetings are the 4th Wednesday of Each Month and we welcome      guests! Meetings are informal. We encourage all dog fanciers of any      breed to attend!
